Are you looking for the best fostering agency?
hoosing to become a foster carer is a significant decision, and the agency you choose to work with plays an important part in your experience. As a foster carer, you deserve strong support, clear communication and an organisation that values the work you do.
Who you decide to foster with can make a real difference to how confident and well supported you feel. The right agency will provide consistent supervision, accessible advice and a professional partnership built on trust. Fostering is both rewarding and demanding, so having the right team around you matters.
Finding the best fostering agency is not about selecting the largest organisation or the one with the most advertising. It is about finding the agency that is the right fit for you, your household and the type of fostering you want to provide. Every agency works slightly differently, and understanding those differences helps you make an informed choice.
When comparing fostering agencies, it is worth considering the level of support offered, supervising social worker caseloads, training opportunities, financial transparency and how responsive the team is when you have questions. You may also want to speak directly to existing carers to understand their experience.
At South Coast Fostering, we focus exclusively on supporting carers across Southern England. We aim to combine strong professional standards with a genuinely personal approach, ensuring carers feel valued, prepared and supported throughout their fostering journey.
What do you need From An Agency?

South Coast Fostering is a small family run fostering agency, with over 25 years of experience. We do this because we want to improve children’s lives, and empower foster carers.

Where are we recruiting?
We are currently recruiting baby foster carers across Southern England. There is a particular need in Kent, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Surrey, London, Berkshire and Wiltshire.
Babies who come into care often need placements at short notice, and wherever possible, we aim to place them with carers close to their local area. Recruiting across these counties helps ensure babies can remain near familiar health services, contact arrangements and professional networks.
If you live in any of these areas and feel you could provide a calm, stable and nurturing home for a baby, we would welcome an informal conversation. An initial discussion allows you to explore what baby fostering involves and whether it could be right for you.

Your Next Chapter Could Start Here
Every child deserves the chance to grow up feeling safe, valued and understood. For some children, that security begins with a foster carer who is willing to offer patience, stability and encouragement when it is needed most.Fostering is not about being perfect or having all the answers. It is about showing up consistently, creating routines that bring reassurance, and offering a steady presence during uncertain times. The difference you make may not always be dramatic, but it is often found in the small, everyday moments that help a child begin to feel secure again.
Choosing to foster is a significant step. With the right training, guidance and ongoing support, it can also be one of the most meaningful decisions you make. You may be giving a child a safer present — and helping them build a more confident future.
If you are ready to explore what fostering could mean for you and for a child in your community, this could be the beginning of something truly important. ```
