24/7 support for you when you are fostering
Being a foster carer never stops, which means neither should the support you receive.
As a South Coast Fostering carer, you’ll have a dedicated supervising social worker who will not only visit you, but also be on call to you 24/7. So if there’s an emergency, they are there for you.
Great Financial Rewards
We are proud to pay our carers one of the highest fee level there is in the country for standard fostering.
We believe foster carers should be fairly rewarded for all their hard work, so our carers receive:
£425 to care for a child under 11 per week,
£450 to care for a child 11 and over per week.
Last year our carers received an average of £734 per week.
Professional Development
We know that foster carers love to learn, both from their experiences and also more structured education.
So we provide an abundance of in-person, zoom and online training. We only provide trainings which are relevant and interesting. We know people generally want to learn about useful things, so we always try to make the trainings as practical as possible.
